The celebration of Easter hinges around the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the tomb after being dead 3 days.

That in itself is a miracle and worthy of celebrating. But it is only because Jesus Christ lives today that we have hope in our own lives.

1 Corinthians 15:20 says, “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.”

What that means is because Jesus is alive today and has conquered death for us, that we can also experience life after death if we trust in Him for eternal life. Only those who are truly trusting Christ as their Savior have a real reason to rejoice on Easter.
