Pastor Ross is a dynamic teacher of God’s Word and is passionate about helping people discover how God’s truth is relevant and applicable to their lives today.

Pastor Ross Fichter came to Bunker Hill Community Church in October 2018. He is a graduate of Bob Jones University with a degree in Special Education. As a life-long student of the Bible, he was called into pastoral ministry while attending and teaching at Heritage Baptist Church in Dover, NH, and was mentored and trained in pastoral ministry there. In 2007, he was called to help plant Heritage Bible Church in rural west Michigan, and was the Pastor there for 11 years before the Lord led him to Bunker Hill Community Church.  He is continuing in post-graduate seminary classes in pursuit of a Master’s of Theology degree from Scofield Bible Institute and Seminary.

Pastor Ross has been happily married to Carolyn since 1990, and together they have 6 children–5 daughters and 1 son.  When not studying the Bible or teaching, Pastor Ross enjoys reading, gardening, home improvement projects, and attempting to make his aging body participate in sports.
