The term ‘legalism” is often applied to the lifestyle of believers who have stricter standards and convictions than the one applying the label. Yet, in many cases, the true legalist is the one applying the label as they make their own convictions, or lack thereof, the standard by which they judge everyone else. What is the Biblical definition of a legalist and how does it violate the principles of Christian Liberty?
